Today, I’d like to introduce you to a new brand from the USA, Youzuskin, founded by Tina Dao.
Youzu Refresh Spray
Formulated with only three ingredients, its star component is hypochlorous acid, known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties that help calm irritation, reduce redness, and promote healing. The other two ingredients are Electrolyzed Water (Aqua), which hydrates and refreshes the skin, and Sodium Chloride (Salt), which helps balance and stabilize the formula while supporting the skin’s natural healing process.
This toner spray is designed to help with inflammation, acne, rosacea, and sunburns and is safe for sensitive skin.
I started using it right after my holiday when I returned with a sudden breakout. Of course, I immediately began using the spray, and within a few days, my pimples started to calm down.
Another product kindly gifted for review is the Daily Refresh Serum.
This lightweight formula is expertly blended with a potent dose of hypochlorous acid (HOCL) for its soothing and rejuvenating benefits. The serum visibly reduces redness and blemishes, reverses signs of aging, and promotes skin renewal, revealing clearer, softer, and smoother skin over time.
The serum contains small capsules, and I believe that’s why the spray head stopped working after just one use. Unfortunately, the serum is too thick for the spray mechanism. Despite the struggle with dispensing it, I applied the serum to my blemishes, and it helped reduce them.
This was my first time using products with hypochlorous acid, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they worked. The only issue I had was with the packaging. The toner spray has a strong or high-pressure mist, and I wish the spray was gentler for a softer application.
